Little cousin Brendan turned 13 today. I missed the Toy Story 3 screening, but got to play around at Hard Knocks Battle simulation. Guns and girls, a pretty simple formula. For dinner, Taverna Opa — a greek themed, lively restaurant most noted by it’s napkin throwing celebrations and dance-heavy atmosphere. Loud bass driven music blared, providing fuel for the roaming belly dancers and customers alike (See Below). The food itself was simple but succulent. Chick peas inside a mortar and pestle allows you to crush your very own hummus and take credit for the delicious spread. Your choice of Chicken, Beef, Pork, or Lamb is a tough one, but with a Group Menu option, Taverna Opa keeps everything, and everybody, in the mix.
